When is Love Boat going to be out on DVD? You can get almost every other TV series in the world on DVD, but not Love Boat. I just checked Amazon, and it allowed me to sign up for a notification if Love Boat is released on DVD. I just can’t believe it isn’t out already. You can get Fantasy Island on DVD (talk about a travel show!).
Love Boat probably inspired me to choose a cruise for our honeymoon more than anything else. I don’t know why. I just always enjoyed the show, and the cruises looked like a lot of fun. It not like I expected to meet Captain Stubing, Gopher, Doc, or Julie. But it just looked like it would be really cool to see all of those places. Julie was a lot cuter than any of the real-life cruise directors I have seen. I have a better chance of meeting “Julie” now as Lauren Tewes works as a cheese steward in Seattle where I get back to visit every couple years.
I can’t wait till they finally bring the Love Boat series out on DVD! I guess for now, I will have to be satisified with actually taking cruises. Life is hard!

I totally agree with the article above. “Love Boat” is an absolute classic, and, with the recent passing of it’s creator and Producer, Aaron Spelling, what better way to give a post-humous tribute to the man? Lord, if “Alf” can be on DVD, and “Love Boat” was in the Top 10 Neilsens for every season it was on, then, why isn’t it getting it’s due?

I REALLY want the love boat, I have been waiting for it since they said it was going to be available sometime in 2006, I remember watching this show every Saturday night for the longest time (hey I already have the 1st season of Fantasy Island, I now need the Love Boat to complete my 80’s fix). This is such a classic and I can’t wait any longer

I have way too many favorite episodes including ones with recuring guest stars like sonny bono the thought of finding the love boat on DVD is worth any price for season box episodes

I think the cruise lines of today are insuring that the DVD’s are never produced. They probably think it would tarnish the present day cruise industry, which is a gazillion dollar business. I agree release them now!
