How many of you have been contacted by SeaMiles, with a new twist, they now offer for 10,000 seamiles, a $500 credit along with $2400, and you are "guarenteed" at least a 7 day cruise, 7 nights at a "world class" resort and 5 nights at Pueblo Bonito in Mazatlan, Mexico. Trouble is..I can't get to view the cruises or resorts, unless I commit to the program, and send $$ and give up points!! The rep said I could get it all back, if I didn't find cruises and resorts that were acceptable. Oh sure, pay first, fight them later!!

I'm still trying to get the rep to do the right-thing!

I agree about the whinning!!!I work for SeaMiles. Call the number and get some help. If you doubt that agent...some are new and not as knowledgeable...hang up and call again. I will say that the people that hand out the cards on the ships seem to stretch the truth. Read the fine print, read the terms and conditions...and call me or one of my co-workers.You have to book through us, not Carnival or a travel agent!!!
Call and we'll talk!!!

All you have to do is call 877 sea miles and the customer service agents will tell you your points it is easy. The customer service reps are nice and knowledgable, and sea miles does get the best price always, let the CS know if you are a past guest or qualify for senior or military rate, they can adjust that rate with you sea miles and give you lower price. Don't assume the CS will know if you qualify for a cheaper rate. Also cruise lines DO NOT negotiate rates with anyone, they don't have too most sailings sell out, so the only way you will get a better rate is if you qualify for a discount they offer or by using some sort of points program. Basically people stop whinning, it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions of your sea miles card and know how to use it, and don't expect to get a free cruise with very little points, there is no free lunch and you had the benefit of all the stuff you purchased with that credit card sea miles is giving you points as a courtesy and thank you for using their card for something you would have bought anyway.

I just found out that Seamiles will not honor the use of seamiles points for the purchase of onboard credits. This was what we were promised when we applied for the card on our last cruise. Needless to say I am dissappointed and want to warn others. I also have a better price than their garrantied lowest price by calling carnival direct.

Hi

I was very frustrated not knowing how many points it took for a free cruise. I just visited the site and they have made some changes.

To my surprise they now have a new visa card a point is worth .01 and if you cruise you can earn points quickly

Finally somebody gets it

Hi!

My java script will not let me in anywhere. I am about ready to cancel the card because they are so secretive about how to find out how many miles you have accumulated. Just venting!
