We also have been to the Herkermer Diamond Mine an the Ace of Diamonds Mine just outside Herkermer. We had lots of luck here and found some beautiful stones. We busted a LOT of rock but found plenty of beautiful specimins. Not too many finds just on the ground or in sand but was worth the effort. Hadour best luck at the Ace of Diamonds mine. Got hot, dirty, and sunburned and had a blast. We are leaving this weekend to go back for the thid time. We are hooked! Ha! We visited here also and worked hard with not much to show for our efforts.
