I had bad experiences (lack of refund or service) with hotels and priceline. I won’t be using EITHER in the future. Had I known hotels was masked as expedia I wouldn’t have done biz w/them. They charged my credit card when reserved - ridiculous!! Most hotels don’t charge until you leave.

The hassle is not worth the “money you save.”

Good for you for doing your homework and being thorough
Its interesting
On a tv consumer show 3 women were given the task of booking 3 trips
Person number one loved to research on the internet - its more fun than the trip
Traveler 2 phoned the airlines
Travel Consumer number 3 used the services of travel agents
The interesting thing is that no one traveler came out ahead of the pack
Each result of the three was different
The point is that you have to cover the water and beat th bushes for the best travel bargain as you did.

I agree about the whinning!!!I work for SeaMiles. Call the number and get some help. If you doubt that agent…some are new and not as knowledgeable…hang up and call again. I will say that the people that hand out the cards on the ships seem to stretch the truth. Read the fine print, read the terms and conditions…and call me or one of my co-workers.You have to book through us, not Carnival or a travel agent!!!

My husband and I watch your show whenever it is on, and would love to be on it with some family and friends, My husband is a non-believer and he us VERY VERY hard to scare.. and I want him to experience the hauntings, ghosts, and the supernatural..it will be an experience we will never forget..SO PLEASE)))) sign us up to be on your next show!!

Hi, when this show first came out I wanted to be on the show. I signed up for the 2004 season and I didn’t get on the show. But I would love to get on this show with my family. If there is a sign up sheet I would like to know, so I could sign my family up for it. I’ve been searching for the sign up form for hours it seems and I have gotten not where with it. So if someone could let me know where I could sign up PLEASE let me know.. Thanks and like many others I LOVE THIS SHOW!!

As a local, I’m anxiously awaiting the seasonal opening of the Tail O’ the Pup next week. My family loves the food and the kids especially love the nightly bonfire and smores.

My family eats at the Tail every summer. Each year it gets bigger and better. I remember when it had seating for about 100, now it’s up to 600 and they pack them in. The staff, a mix of American and European students add to the experience. You can eat ribs and learn about life in the Czech Republic all at once. Our kids love the playground and my wife and I love the live music. We are planning on returning again this summer.

Hi, I am wondering how I could get onto the show. My dad is always wanted to go onto the show and I dont know if I believe in them or not and my husband dont believe in them. I would like to prove to myself and him if they are or not. We would just like to be on the show to see how it is. I would suggest looking into the Big Agnes Lost Ranger, typically you can find it a good prices for what you get. It has a rating of 15 degrees and is made quite well, we have had a bunch of reviews supporting it. Another one I would recommend is the Slumberjack Odessey Go Light bag… I think the range it comes in is from +30 to -30 degrees and again is pretty affordable for what you get.

I lived in rochester for 39 years and I can say that there is nothing to do there. Once you have done the 10 things you mentioned now what? The weather alone prohibts any out door activities. You get 1-2 days of sun and the rest are dark and gloomy skies. Not to mention the endless months of cold/winter. That filthy and polluted lake and that cesspool you call a beach in charlotte cannot even be used if you had good weather. The city has a look that it’s caught in a time warp that has not evolved with any creativity in any way. There is more destruction than growth. Look outsided the “box” and see what there is out there before you settle to the vice grip of Rochester before it’s to late.
