Sorry you did not like Rollins Pond. It is not for everyone, if you are looking for the things you get at a private camp you are out of luck. I have been camping there since I was a boy, with family, and have been taking my family there for the last 30 years and we love it. Wish more people did not like the camp so it would be easier to get a site there.

Went on this “Panama Indian Upriver Expedition” when I was in the Navy and it was amazing. The waterfall was probably the best place I’ve ever been. I would love to go back and take my wife.

If you do back to back 3-4 days cruises will they count towards the magic number of 10 cruises needed for platinum status. I have 5 now and was thinking of doing two 3-4 day cruises back to back next year. I was wandering if they count as two or one?

Jon Scully, my post is completely true! Why the heck would I lie about a weak cell signal? I was going to order the pizz over the phone, but at the campground, I couldn’t get a signal. Then I drove down there. I was told they couldn’t make me a pizza. Then I drove back and forth on the main drag looking for Lombardos. I couldn’t find them, so I checked my phone. In the town I had like 1 bar. Maybe you work for Ina’s or something? And I wasn;t in the restaurant long enough to have a shitty attitude. I had barely walked into the place when I was informed they couldn’t make me a pizza.

Well, after reading the 4th comment (from “Friend of Bill W”), I can’t really say I disagree with the fact that “some” people would be well to know about it – members, mostly – and it so happens that a lot of them do NOT know…

I happen to have worked on a cruise ship for 7 years, and I do know all about those meetings and the controversy it raises; one day, I was sitting at the infirmary to treat a sprain (not fun for a musician, by the way), I saw a passenger inquiring about the AA meetings onboard, as he was unaware of the codename for it; to my despair, even the MEDICAL STAFF didn’t know about it, either!!!! I set them straight afterwards and they were ASTONISHED to discover that… Ditto for Dorothy…

Besides, rest assured, they keep it under the codename in order to misdirect those few who would have a bone to pick with either group, and none of them would ever look it up on the ‘net!

And even if they did, this posting here wouldn’t be considered as a smoke signal to flush them out in the open, Bill W. has his own Wikipedia entry that spells it out very clearly – ain’t that hard a code to break, really…

Me, I’ll tell you, it reassures me to know AA’s presence is global, for their sake! You probably even heard in an episode of The West Wing of the “card games” which are AA meetings for govt. officials…

It’s Anonymous, but it’s not secret! (and it still is anonymous)

P.S.: Paul R: most of them usually sip, but the heat making them sweat a lot allows them to wait longer before #1… They usually end up drinking loads of water afterwards ’cause they feel dehydrated come early evening!

AA is a place where people go who don’t drink. They are mostly happy and successful people, due to AA. The biggest mystery on cruise ships is not what friends of bill is its how some people can sit at a swim up bar for 4 hours drinking beer and never go to the bathroom. I go to friends of bill meetings, but I never go in a pool with a swim up bar.

Oh and having worked at a pizzeria for 26 years, it takes about 12 minutes to make a pie from stretch to box, maybe you came in with a shitty attitude or your watch worked as well as your cell phone.
