I HAVE ABOUT 30,000 SEA MILES & WOULD LIKE TO SEE IF I CAN USE THEM ON OUR CRUISE IN APRIL FOR ROOM-CREDITS????

THIS WOULD HEOP OUT IF WE COULD USE THE CREDITS FOR ON/BOARD CREDIT.????

I just got stiffed by seamiles. They saved me $200 on my June cruise but charged me $520 non-refundable fee to do it! Next time I’m on Carnival I’ll hang out at the Seamiles counter and keep people from being suckers like me.

It needs to be easy to check your seamile balance. All I fnd is how to get acard and adds. What about a simple site check your seamile balance. It would be very helpful.

SeaMiles is a rip-off!! I had over 54,000 points and they took them away. I was told I had 60 months to use them. Well the customer service rep. I spoke with told me wrong. I have tried to get satisfaction, but to no avail. I am very disappointed in Carnival also. I have sailed 3′xs with them and have my 4th scheduled. It will be my last with them. Don’t get this card, you are better off with your credit union, where you can get money or certificates with points. VERY DISGUSTED with both seamiles and CARNIVAL.

I checked with Carnival Seamiles and transferring any points from any other card is not available at this time.Oh please don’t close your Seamiles card without useing all the point’s first.

There is a new SeaMiles Visa card with Chase bank that can be used on any cruise line at any time (https://www.seamiles.com/public_2_1.csp)

Does anybody know if I can transfer my Carnival SeaMiles to the new card?

Great questions! I really didn’t know myself. But I looked into it, and got the answers.
You can call 1-877-732-6453 (the Sea Miles people), and they can tell you…
OR
You can go to http://www.SeaMiles.com, and sign up for an account there. In either case, they will need the Member ID from your Sea Miles card (it should start with a J).
The website seems kind of slow. I was also warned that there is a bug that sometimes when you try to logon on the first screen, it tells you invalid ID. But if you try again on the second screen it usually works.

As far as how many points you need, it varies for different cruises (popular cruises probably cost more points). This is from the web site:
3 & 4 Day Bahamas from 24,001 SeaMiles
4 & 5 Day Western Caribbean from 25,177 SeaMiles
7-Day Eastern Caribbean from 51,060 SeaMiles
7-Day Mexico from 55,766 SeaMiles
8-Day Southern Caribbean from 56,943 SeaMiles

SeaMiles can also be redeemed for a cruise discount.

How do I check the number of sea miles I have accumulated? Where do I find a list of number of sea miles needed to purchase cruises etc.? Can I use sea miles as part of payment for a cruise?
