- Purchasing this video as a soon to be traveller to Mexico City, I was profoundly disappointed in the visual quality, quantity and narrative content of the tape.
I have the feeling that this video is intended for a Middle School History Class, not an adult traveller researching a destination. The imagery seems outdated and the lighting is dark. The accompanying music is too loud. And the content seems disjointed as it jumps in time between the historical foundings of the city to modern scenes. Clearly I'm disappointed with my purchase and do not recommend it as a travel resource.
- Poor quality, poor sound, poor lighting, BIG disappointment.... There was nothing to be learned or enjoyed from this VERY CHEAPLY PRODUCED video with a not-cheap price tag.
DON'T BUY THIS VIDEO!

1 comments about America's Deadliest Volcanoes.
- "The Modocs were a scrappy little tribe..." is a quote from this sappy, condescending, and offensive film.
As far as the geological information, it might have been okay for a junior high class, I suppose, except that it would be too religious for public schools. You won't hear the terms pyroclastic or stratovolcano, but you will hear again and again, "angels, hell, god, heavens, goddess, sacred etc..." As a student of geology, I found this tape nearly a complete waste of time. The only thing good about it is the spectacular pictures of the major volcanoes in the United States. But, if you're looking for indepth information on volcano systems, plate tectonics, or geology, try another source. This is not going to give you anything to chew on. And, as an American Indian, this tape is beyond condescending. Again and again you hear what the Native Americans called each volcano - as if there's some mystical power in that. If only the poor white men would have just listened to the noble savages. Please! That's what I get for thinking that the most expensive tape offered by Amazon.com on volcanoes is going to be the best. Rob Lightner, did you really watch this?

- I enjoyed this video. It is 60 mins.long. It shows alot of the places to see in China and tells you about the people there and how they live.I has alot of beautiful scenery. It makes you feel like you are there in China.
- I definitely recommend this video to anyone who is considering vacationing in china, my homeland. Watch "Touring China" and you'll know which attractions to see (the Great Wall), and which to avoid (the subway in Taiyuan has rats as big as cats).
You will also learn where to get acupuncture treatment as well as the location of the best noodle bar in Peking (now known as Beijing). Did you know that the Han Dynasty used to celebrate the Dragon on the 3rd day of every month? The video is a "must have" flick for the educated person who wants to learn more about China.
- IF YOU WANT A LOOK AT THE PROGRESSIVE CHINA OF TODAY, ALONG WITH SOME HISTORY AND A FEW UNIQUE LOCATIONS, THIS IS THE DVD FOR YOU. THIS PRODUCTION IS GOOD, CLASSY, PROFESSIONAL WORK. IT CAN BE YOURS FOR A VERY, VERY REASONABLE PRICE THROUGH AMAZON.COM. HOPEFULLY, THE PRODUCERS OF THIS DVD WILL CONTRACT THE SAME PEOPLE TO MAKE ANOTHER DVD ABOUT THE RURAL, LESS KNOWN LOCATIONS IN CHINA AND THEIR CULTURAL CIRCUMSTANCES.
