4 comments about Parrot Heads in Paradise.
- Even the biggest parrot head will probably not enjoy this tape!
It looks like a personal home video you might have taken(from the 59th row)at one of Jimmy's concerts. The picture and sound quality are horrible!! Save your money and buy another tee shirt!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Kinda drags on . . . definintely low production value . . . but it is the only inside look at the "Parrot Head" phenomenon I've ever seen on video.
- Im not even a parrothead and think this footage is awesome. The people are hillarious and i even recognized a friend in the background. Too cool... If you are a ParrotHead then this tape is a must see!! Who knows you may be the star.
- More of look at the backstage side
of Buffett show. Released before
Tales from Margaritavision. My
late father would have liked to
see it.

2 comments about Oregon! Things Look Different Here..
- We found this video to be a complete waste of money. While we were looking for information on Oregon, this video gave no clue as to where you were. Certainly, this video was released from the Oregon Visitors Center and must be handed out free of charge, as it seems to be unreasonable to expect anyone to pay for this useless video.
- you just want to see clips around Oregon... not enough clips of Portland. It is made by the Hotel chain called "Shilo Inn" and would be something you expect to watch promoting vacation destinations. The music is NOT stunning, and there is no narrative on this film at all. Sub-par, really.

2 comments about Yosemite: Ahwahnee Style.
- This was the best video tour of Yosemite's famous Ahwahnee hotel and the surrounding park that I've ever seen!
- That is biggest mistake there ever was. The biggest mistake in California Indian History. The original Native Americans of Yosemite were Paiutes.
The Miwoks were not the original American Indians of Yosemite, but they were the guides and scouts for Jim Savage and the Mariposa Battalion.
They were afraid to enter Yosemite Valley and called the original Ahwahneechees "the Killers" because they feared them.
I guess history was re-written to fit those who aided in those first non-Indians who entered Yosemite Valley.
The groups that became the Miwoks were actually the Indian miners for James Savage and other white miners. When James Savage was killed they cried "our white father is dead". That certainly wasn't Chief Tenaya's people. Since they disliked James Savage.
That is all documented in Lafayette H. Bunnell's book "The Discovery of the Yosemite". This video must is bogus.
Read that book instead and you will see the truth. That was the only book written by the only man to meet and write about Chief Tenaya and his band. Who were primarily Mono Paiutes and not Miwuks.
Those to aided the intruders were left to re-write history of Yosemite.

4 comments about Mexico Mama's Travel & Retirement Videos: Travel or Retire to Lake Chapala Mexico.
- When I finally saw this video I was thrilled. Not only is the scenary beautifully depicted, but MexicoMama has prepared a video that is truly useful for anyone considering visiting or moving to the area! From the imagery of each town's sqaure to the practical tips and shots of how to go through airport customs (red light/green light)and get a taxi to take to the area .... even the details of how to set up your electric and phone, etc.! This video is jam-packed with exactly the information needed. And it's managed to capture the "personality" of the area, as well! Great Job!
- Never heard of Lake Chapala? Well don't worry this video will explain it to you. Beautiful communities, homes and rich culture is what this movie is out to explore. Along with that is the practical side of small town life. This is a video to check out.
- I wrote a review before and it was not posted. This video for the money was vey disappointing. Some scenes kept being repeated, and for the price the quality was not good. It showed people smiling, close ups and bad views of Lake Chapala which was repeated. My video had blank secions in it when all I got was music. I like the mexican music but felt it was repeated over and over for the whole time. I never lost the audio, just the video. I would not recommend spending money for it, unless it were 10 bucks.
- For the money, I thought this video was an excellent deal. Most travel videos are very short and more like an advertisement by travel agents. This one was long enough that we broke it into a few sessions. It showed everything we were wondering about: what the towns looked like, what it was like to use the public transportation and taxis--my wife was really nervous before. It also gave great information about what it would be like if we decided to move there, including problems with getting a phone and such, and we could even see what the banks and telephone company looked like inside and out. We enjoyed learning about the history of each town and didn't need to buy a separate book. Overall, we're really happy with this video and have watched it over and over and lent it to friends, too.
