1. Concentrates strongly on ruins and focus on Meridia NOT Cancun has info on Belize but drwn out and VERY limitred as far as Cancun is concerned.



2. Ms. Belafonte did a fine job in presenting the positive elements a traveler will find when visiting Mexico. The places she showcased were affordable and full of culture and history.

1. I rented this video looking for tips on touring the island of St. Thomas. Over-all, the video is well done and Shari Belafonte does a fine job of hosting. (Hostessing?) What I was looking for was more of a tour of the beaches and sights that a tourist would normally want to see if only visiting for a few hours, (cruise ships), or days. I felt that the video spent too much time on Puerto Rico, and on all the islands, too much time on local history. Sure, some history is fine, but again, I was looking for things to see and do today. Too much time was also spent on shopping. Again, showing where the main shopping areas are and the types of items that can be found there would be fine, but if expensive jewelry and perfume aren't what you're after, you're out of luck. I also would have liked to have seen a brief map of the islands to sort of get a bearing on where things were. This would help me to more economically plan my time on the islands I visit. I did enjoy the shots of the beautiful ports and the few beaches shown, and the production values on this video were also very good.

1. The program did deliver on its promise to show you the "scenic delights of the west." However, in a 50+ minute video, probably less than 30 minutes was spent on Yellowstone, Yosemite and Glacier National Parks (the parks mentioned in the subtitle). Also part of the program was a visit to a Montana mining "ghost town," a few California state parks, and even Lake Tahoe. As interesting as those places might be, the three parks mentioned above could have easily filled the whole program. Heck, you could do 60 minutes on any ONE of those three parks. So I was somewhat disappointed in the limited coverage they receieved.
   
   Overall I give this three stars, because what you do see of Yellowstone, Yosemite and Glacier is great. I just wish the entire video was devoted to them instead of adding in the aforementioned other places.

1. This was a fairly entertaining video, a little disappointing because it is only about 45 minutes long. The amazing wonders featured in this video include stonehenge, the tower of london, the blarney stone,the island of Iona, and several others relating to ghosts and myths.
