1 comments about Globe Trekker: Tuscany.
- Having seen the content of several other Florence/Tuscany DVDs (many of which clock in at 20 minutes or so total), I'd give this 5/5 for content. Attractions in Florence, Carrara, Vinci, San Gimignano, Siena, Maremma, Elba, and Pisa are presented along with travel tips (mostly where to stay and how to get around, with almost no attention paid to where to eat). Unfortunately, the narrator, Ian Wright, is so annoying I had to knock it down by 2 stars. He's like Jamie Oliver meets Carrot Top.

3 comments about ScubaCore DVD Issue 3.
- i really love the scubacore dvds especially because of the underwater footage. it is the best quality that ive seen. also, the destinations are so unique and different from each other in each dvd, not one boring minute and so much helpful information. worth every penny!
- My husband got me this ScubaCore DVD because he knows how much I love the environment and all wildlife, marine and otherwise. I had a nasty cold and was in bed for few days so he thought I could use some cheering up with easy-on-the-eye images. Plus there's only so much daytime TV a person can watch. I checked it out and guess what? This is a DVD anyone can enjoy! If you have an interest in travel, swimming, undersea creatures, exotic locations (and obviously --diving), or if you are feeling low or sick or sad (or all of the above), this is a great way to pleasantly pass the time. I'll probably never dive in these amazing spots since I am not a diver, but I feel like I spent time underwater. Fabulous! What a great ride, well told and informative. Lastly, very peaceful and beautiful to watch. There's a whole world under the sea and ScubaCore definitely takes you there. Good production values make this a keeper in my DVD collection. Happy diving!
- I bought ScubaCore Issue 1 because I wanted to check out the segment on Yap, and before I knew it two hours had done by and I had watched the entire DVD, special features and all. The next day I bought ScubaCore Issues 2 and 3, and enjoyed them just as much. The locations they show are really diverse, and having been to a few of those places, I can say that they are well-represented on the ScubaCore DVDs. The quality of the underwater cinematography is fantastic -- this is some of the most colorful underwater footage I have seen. Be sure to check out the special feature on sharks in Issue 3 -- it's obvious that these folks really care about the marine environment. I highly recommend these beautiful DVDs for divers and anyone who is interested in learning more about our oceans.

2 comments about Mozart Piano Concertos Nos. 13 & 20 - A Naxos Musical Journey.
- A Quick review of a disc that I thought was very enjoyable. You can't go wrong with a Mozart piano concerto and with 2 here, winners! The performances were very credible and delightful! What took me away was Salzburg! If I were to want to visit anywhere in Europe, this disc makes me want Salzburg! Summer looks quite delightful, but winter looks like a wonderland! The scenery chosen is quite breathtaking in it's scope. I am glad to have this disc in my library!Great performance and great scenery, what more can one ask???
- I purchased this DVD because I'm a big fan of Mozart's piano concerti and I have fond memories of past trips to Salzburg.
I was not disappointed. This tour of what I believe to be the most picturesque city in Europe is breathtaking. The first concerto - which is in a major key - is the backround music for scenes of Salzburg in Spring. The city is alive with flowers, sunshine and joy. The second concerto - which is in a minor key - frames the city in the middle of winter and at night. Snow is everywhere. The Salz River is frozen and the natives skate, play and ski on the river's surface. If you love great music and you love the incomparable scenery of Austria get this DVD!!!!!
