1. I was hopeful this video would help us plan a cruise to the Mediterranean next year but it provided nothing more than I got from books on the subject. No real information on the actual ports, how to get transportation to/from the ship, restaurants or shopping in area. This is just like a little travel log of the interesting tourist spots at each stop. Not bad, but clearly not special in any regard. Too bad.

1. I've always loved waterfalls; and in this DVD, I couldn't get enough of the beautiful scenery and the extraordinary development of this land after the brutal war that the land endured. The animals (brown bear, wolves, beaver, etc.) live in such a peaceful setting and it's interesting to see the lives they have in all seasons. It is one of the oldest national parks in the world and I would suggest anyone, who has the ability to travel, to make it a destination and see the beauty up close.



2. Land of the Falling Lakes is about the Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia. I could not believe a place like this still exists in Europe. A very beautiful and unique wilderness worth learning about.
   
   The program is typical of the high quality production of the Nature program on PBS. Beautiful cinematography with well thought out narration and music.

1. I brought my Mom on a trip to Iceland last year. She kept saying how much she loves to think back on the trip so I purchased this for her. She says she looks at it often and feels like she's back in Reykjavik. She loves this.



2. If you want a DVD about the wildlife of Iceland, and particulary birds, this might be the travel video for you. However, I was expecting more of a historical perspective as well as a documentary that focused on the people and culture of Iceland. I must say, I was disappointed with the DVD and would recommend viewers look elsewhere.

1. This is such a wonderful portrayal of the Scots-Irish journey to America. The music is magical and inspirational, the dancing is the best of our hertiage, the story spectacular. It's a wonderful journey of emotion from sadness to laughter. Well worth it!



2. If you love music and dance mixed with history than this is for you. Filmed live with a huge cast of professional dances from several different styles, it is the story of the journey of the Scots-Irish from Scotland to Ireland and eventually to America. Even though it is about one nationality of people the message and story of the immigration of the Scots-Irish can be seen reflected in the stories of all people who immigrated to America.
   Featuring the powerful voice of Scots-Irish singer Peter Corry and the beautiful Scottish singer, Alyth, you learn of the hardships, difficulties and joys of a people who had such powerful impact on American history but have been largely unknown.



3. A two disc set, the show disc is good and the Documentary disk tells about the Scotch-Irish who came to America before the Revolution.
   All Americans will enjoy the story no matter their own ethnic background.
   An uplifting Musical.

1. A fitting tribute to a beautiful piece of architecture. Since I have never been to Neuschwanstein, this was a great substitute. I wish there were more still photos of all the FINISHED and UNFINISHED rooms... I am still waiting for the definitive edition of Neuschwanstein. What is at the top of those turrets... what is in the basement... ? Of course if they showed you everything you wouldn't want to go and visit the thing... however... if you are like me... it only sparks your curiousity more. Nice DVD...



2. Looking forward to this DVD. Was I surprised when I put it in my DVD player, and it wouldn't play. Discovered it was PAL formatted for Europe, not NTSC formatted for USA. Called Amazon customer service and was told that the NTSC format was not available. So I am shipping the DVD back to Amazon for a refund.
