1 comments about Global Treasures BLUE MOSQUE Sultan Ahmed Mosque Istanbul, Turkey.
- This was the best of 3 DVDs that I bought at the same time.
Besides the money shots of ceiling tiles, the history provided set the right tone to appreciate this masterpiece. See you in Istanbul!

2 comments about Wild Australia - The Edge (Large Format).
- Wild Australia - The EDGE was filmed entirely in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney. It was commissioned for and is shown exclusively at THE EDGE CINEMA at Katoomba, and has to be seen to be believed.
This film will take you to places that you could never hope to experience, and will take you to ancient protected forests, through mountain ravines, abseil down gushing waterfalls, swim through cave pools and plunge down vertical cliffs.
Only a large TV or Projector can fully do justice to this film, but still not quite as magnificent to the actual film itself. So watch the DVD, wet your appitite - then come out to Australia and see & experience the real Movie and the Blue Mountains for yourself.
A great movie in the IMAX tradition - You will not be disappointed.
- This is a major disappointment as far as IMAX movies go,too much time is wasted in dark caves pointing a feeble flashlight at the camera,,even IMAX can't make that exciting..the gushing review that led me to buy it sure fooled me,,dont waste yr time and $ on this one,,ordinary to say the least

1 comments about Grand Teton.
- Many people may just see Grand Teton as a drive-by on the way to Yellowstone. Or, if they stop at all, it's just to look at the Tetons themselves and that's it.
There's much more to do here -- see elk and moose, pelicans, swans and other waterfowl, hike to or around one of several lakes, or hike backcountry. This video looks at more of the possibilities.
Just about any Finley-Holiday video will be worth your money. High-quality shooting, good cinematography, informative voice-overs and very fitting musical scoring all add up to make a great series.
Plus, videos in the Finley-Holiday series normally have bonus features, such as sidebar attractions in the area. And, they film in all seasons of the year, something you and I can't do on a single trip.
In other words, if you haven't gone to a particular park yet, Finley-Holiday will be the final thing to get you going. If you have, it's a great souvenir without having to lug a camcorder around yourself.

2 comments about A Travelers Guide to Italy: Rome & the Vatican Galleries.
- This was one of the better programs I saw to prepare yourself for a trip to Italy. That said, be prepared that the image quality of this feature looks like VHS from 1985. The feature remains pretty much on the surface of the tourist attractions, with some little historical extras, but it is not a real educational masterpiece.
- This is a very poor quality and one of the most uninteresting travel DVD I have ever seen! The picture quality is poor and material terrably outdated. It does not convey the true livelyness of Italy.
