1. Very good & fairly indepth look at both cities not a touristy DVD as much as it is informative.



2. This DVD is worth, maybe, 99 cents. Cheap production, half as long as it should be. Buy a good travel book and leave this DVD for the scrap heap.
   I wish I had saved my money.



3. Really enjoyed this one. The host offers a different perspective than what you would normally expect out of a travel video, so keep this in mind.

1. rarement vu un dvd musical aussi exécrable depuis les images aux coloris délavés sans relief, des prises de vue de mauvais amateur, sautantes et tournantes, donnant le tournis , un envahissement des paysages au détriment des vues de l'orchestre , une mise en scène de patronage, des ballets paysans ridicules , une absence d'ensemble aussi bien des ballets que musical renforcée par de fréquents passages non synchronisés: on est alors tenté de chercher le repos visuel et de fermer enfin les yeux, mais alors la lourdeur, le manque de finesse et de poésie de l'interprétation dont ce chef tcheque ne nous avait pas habitué, surtout dans un rôle visuel grandiloquent insupportable .. enfin bref à eviter cette horreur et sinon, à jeter !!!

1. I lived in the State of Washington for a number of years. While the footage of the state is good, the lack of subtitles leaves a person not familiar with the state not knowing what they are viewing. The makers of this DVD could easily have taken the time to include labels for each of the prominent landmarks they flew over. Additionally, as a professional charter and airline pilot, I question the 30-45 degree bank angles the pilot performed in making this film. Those angles did not enhance the scenic views, they detract from it.



2. The entire Over series by Seattles' pbs station are beautifully shot flyovers (not stills) pure hi-def eye candy. It will give your HDTV quite a workout. Over Washington is loaded with pleasing music, is beautifully breathtaking, very wonderful and relaxing. Occasionally adding some sound effects, there is minimal narration and no subtitles.
   These are not travelogues, I've lived here for years and frequently get lost watching them as the narration is minimal. And they often don't tell you where you are. As I look out the window and see the evergreen trees and the puddles forming from the incessant fall rains, I just wish the videos would show all the rain we get to make Washington this beautiful. This bores kids, absolutely enchants adults. This is a must for your video library. I am in no way affiliated with PBS.

1. I bought this DVD in hopes of getting a good feel for what to expect on my first trip to Israel. What a mistake. The DVD is more like someone's home movie of thier vacation to the Levant with minimal editing added in. It presents very limited information and really is a waste of time and money to view or buy. I also bought Lonely Planet's "Israel and the Palestinian Territories, a much better deal for my money!
