1. Anyone living in the Southeast (Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee) will find this travel book to be a practical and useful tool. The author, Eleanor Berman, pairs seasonal activities and local attractions with various locales. For me, this opened my eyes to the many enjoyable short trips my family and I can take without going too far from home. The book contains telephone numbers, driving directions and suggestions for accommodations and restaurants that I likely would never have discovered on my own. My family and I have stayed in several of the book's recommended bed and breakfasts and have been delighted. I keep this book handy to refer to for travel ideas. I reccommend it highly as a thorough and "user friendly" guide to travel in the Southeast.

1. I have personally met and talked with Mr. Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy was in the insurance business at one time and sold "bonds" that were required by TN state law in order for people to be issued handgun carry permits. When TN eliminated the bonding requirement, Mr. Kennedy changed his business plan and starting selling memberships in an organization called "Legally Armed". The Tennessee Consumer Affairs Division and the Better Business Bureau have files on him. Anyhow, Kennedy typically gathers information from publically available sources (e.g., the Tennessee Department of Safety - [...] and compiles that information into printed pamphlets that he sells. He is not an attorney, he is not certified any longer by the NRA as an instructor, he typically is seen at gunshows trying to sell this type of material to individuals who are not aware of his "history"
   
   There were and still may be substantial tax liens and judgments (Davidson County) against Mr. Kennedy.
   
   The bottom line is that the reliability and quality of his information is to be taken with a grain of salt. Buyer beware.
