1. i did not particularly find this book helpful. i took it with me to spain, hoping to get a good feel for the area. however, there were a lot of inaccuracies and plain omissions. some of these are perhaps editorial choices, which are discretionary. but others, like the blatantly erroneous metro map of barcelona, were inexcusable. also, the emphasis is top-heavy on the touristy areas, with very little content on the more 'homey' and genuine aspects of the country. i guess it's ideal for people who travel just to see a mirror image of their own home. for those interested in seeing the real aspects of life in other countries, you might be better off buying something else.

1. For the compact size it has good info...mostly on attractions, but no advice on resturants and hotels...



2. Living in Alicante now, I bought this guide before we moved here. It is really great. Compact and with lots of useful information. I recommend it even on my alicante-spain web site.



3. I got this little book a few weeks ago and it seems pretty helpful. There's a lot of information about the each specific area in costa blanca (especially the main ones, of course), which is good because in general Spain travel books, it's hard to find a lot. I think it will be useful, but I haven't taken the trip yet!
