1. I haven't been to the Yucatan in over 6 years, and purchased this book hoping it would have updated info on the area, as I was planning vacation there soon.

   I couldn't find enough listings for lodgings and restarants to satisfy me, and wound up going to the web to get the info I needed. There are so many more hotels and condos south of Cancun, and even south of Tulum that just weren't listed. None of the restaurants we ate at were even listed. I couldn't use this guide for my purposes.




2. I bought this book. There is a lot of info. I would of liked a little more info on Cancun but over all its really good as has 1-800 numbers to the hotels as well!

1. I have been looking on both Amazon and in bookstores for a comprehensive guide to camping in Nevada, Utah and Arizona (I live in Southern Nevada). Not only are there no great websites, but every book I have seen is either out of date or the series does not cover this area! Thankfully someone told me of this book (it NEVER came up on Amazon searches for camping in these states since the names are not directly in the title). The book is amazing and worth every penny. It covers everything you need to know and athough there are no pictures - I don't care. Now that I know the names of the campgrounds I am interested in, I can get pictures on-line. I would rather have the 100's of up-to-date extensive listings! Thank you so much for publishing this book!!!

1. This is a beautiful book of pictures from a beautiful state. It's hard the describe the diversity New Mexico offers. This does a great job of at least scratching the surface. I highly recommend this as a coffee table book, or a gift.

1. This neglected masterpiece needs to be returned to print immediately. It is one of the greatest novels of the past half century. Prose this exquisite and sad and funny deserves a wide, ecstatic readership. This is a sea-tale about the deep loneliness between intimates and how that very loneliness can result in an even more powerful bond.
