- The photos in this book are less than outstanding, and perhaps the publisher is partly to blame for the less-than-vivid colors. The book seems to have an emphasis on Rajasthan, rather than the whole of India. After having spent 20 days in India this past June, traveling from Chennai to New Delhi, via Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mysore and Agra, this book disappoints. Much better buys are any of the books by Raghubir Singh (esp. "River of Colour").
