  1. This book is a must read for all Disney fans. It includes an excellent tour of all the current Disney parks around the world including Disneyland & California Adventure in Anaheim, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney-MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom in Florida, Disneyland Paris and the Walt Disney Studios in France, along with hard to find information and photos from the great Disney parks in Japan - Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea. You will enjoy this colorful tour and beautiful pictures from the greatest Theme Parks around the world.

  2. With stunning photography, you travel the world via Disney. Shows the celebration of Disneyland's 50th Anniversary. A must-have for any Disney Theme Park nut. Count me as one of those!!

  3. Previously available as a Theme Park exclusive, this attractive hardcover volume does just what the title promised - takes you around the world with Disney. With the exception of the Hong Kong park, all of the theme parks are represented: Disneyland, Walt Disney World Florida, Tokyo and Paris. By no means a perfect book - it spends some 12 pages on the Carousels of the parks, while it only spends 8 on the various Haunted Mansions, Pirates of the Caribbean and Towers of Terror combined - it reads more like an in-park 'pictorial souvenirs' guide than a serious comparison of the parks. If you are content to simply look at pictures of the theme parks, and given how far I am from a Disneyland pictures will have to suffice for now, this is a beautifully presented pictorial of the Disney parks that is easy to recommend as a gift or a coffee table book. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a more in-depth overview of the park, you may have to look elsewhere.

  1. This book is almost as good as a similar book on "out of the way" Florida places. I was raised in Fla. and have discovered some places that I had never heard of.

  2. We have OTBP books for many of the states. If you want to experience the unusual, this book is it. Maybe it's a funky place to dine or a place to get to know the locals. There's a great deal to explore Off the Beaten Path.

  3. This book delivered a big bunch of idiotic information serving no purpose exept to point out a restaurant or maybe two.

  1. This isn't a bad book on Florida travel, unless you want information on the Panhandle; Panama City Beach to Pensacola and surrounding areas. This part of the state isn't even mentioned.

  1. This book from Nature photographer/writer Connie Bransilver is a true celebration of Florida's native, mystical orchids. 'Wild Love Affair', which is more photo-poetry than field guide, gives colorful insight into the intoxicating world of 'Orchid Fever', an epidemic which regularly captures the minds and hearts of sunshine state naturalists. A combination of essays from leading orchid experts gives the book an authoratative feel, without lulling a reader to sleep with page after page of textbook style writing. The photographs, which are the highlight of this hard cover edition, get you intimately close to these elegant flowers without having to trudge through thick swamp land to enjoy them. Visitors to my home have a hard time putting it back down on the coffee table once they have picked it up! If you have even the slightest interest in Florida flora, scenery, or entrancing color photography...this book is a must!

  2. Wild Love Affair is a beautiful book to display. Connie Bransilver takes exotic exquisite photographs. The essay collection takes you to deep swamps and secret places with environmental heroes. Wild Love Affair would make a special gift for birthdays or holidays, especially Floridian flower lovers. Enjoy!

  3. In Wild Love Affair, Connie Bransilver writes that "Orchids capture the imagination . . . evoke an insatiable passion, a sensual appeal . . . [and] cast a powerful spell." That is exactly what she has achieved in this beautiful book. It is a sensual delight of photography from a passionate orchid aficionado. Bransilver captures the imagination of orchid lovers and those who merely appreciate the beauty of nature in all its forms. Anyone on your gift list this holiday season would appreciate this wonderful book.

  4. Thie stunning book shows the real splendour of orchids in their natural environment. It's an intelligent book, thoughful and caring in its obvious respect for the Florida wildlands and orchids of the world. The images are for conservation afficionados as well as the average person who cares for nature, as well, of course, for orchid lovers around the world. It's a great Christmas gift because it appeals to so many different audiences, and because it reflects on the serenity and spirit of the natural world. And, especially for those in Florida, a great gift for clients and customers

  1. A very thorough book. There are excessive transcripts of opinions, which are confusing at times and make the book a little too big. The touring plans are a bit commando style, but they're interesting nonetheless.

  2. Excellent resource for anyone planning either a first trip or repeat visit to the WDW. Be sure to read the reviews on restaurants, because they include readers reviews.

  3. I had the the 2002 edition and now that the package & ticketing structure has changed, the new edition was really helpful. This book is a great tool in preparing to go; eg. where to stay, when to go, how to get the most bang for your buck. I can tell you that I got priority seatings for breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table and saved 20% at my moderate resort because of the information in this book. The book more than pays for itself!

  4. This is a really useful book, tons of tips, saved me a lot $$ and time. The downside is too heavy to carry in the parks.
The most valuable thing I learn is to rent a multi-family vacation house with my friends, 16 people for only $199 a day. We all enjoy the stay at a spacious luxury resort. check this out: http://www.cyberrentals.com/index.cfm/property/126687

  5. This book was VERY useful. All categories were very detailed. The reviews of the how different age groups liked the attractions was very helpful. I would definitely buy this book again.
