1. Drink in the sights with this great book. It's not one you would buy to read in detail about the parks as it is 95% photos, but what great photos at that.

   If you like the Disney parks, you will love this book.

   A simple review, for a simple but superb book.




2. This book is a must have for anyone who loves disney or theme parks. Each page has amazing pictures of the parks- the kind of pictures that you can just stare at for hours. Also a great book for people who wonder how Disney takes care or the park after hours. An overall great book.



3. This is a well done photo tour of all Disney theme parks, foreign and domestic. It shows a lot of the behind the scenes goings on and has very nice full page pictures. If you are looking for information, though, it doesn't have much, it is mostly just a picture book. Well worth it if you enjoy books like this.



4. As was once the case with the British Empire, the sun never sets on Disney's theme parks, with little havens of happiness (and profit) around the world -- California, Florida, France and Tokyo, with more just opened (Disney Sea, also in Tokyo) and more coming (Hong Kong).

   What this book does, like all the other "A Day at/in..." books, is give you a 24-hour time span. At the same time, it jumps from park to park, showing different aspects of different parks, at different times of the day or night -- with guests streaming in, cast members working, resting, smiling or laughing (if you're looking for a critical eye towards the Disney empire, this is not the book for that), or simply landscapes framed by the good work of Mother Nature and the photographer.

   For those who haven't traveled the world (and that's most of us), it gives you a detailed view of what the rest of the world sees when it looks at Disney, noting the differences and the similarities.

   And finally, if you just love the theme park(s), this book will help keep those memories fresh. It works for me.




5. I don't remember where I got this at, but even at cover price it's a GREAT book. If you love Disney parks, GET THIS BOOK!! Yes, it's mostly pictures, but being able to see all 4 castles on one page or the differences between the Haunted mansions is really cool. Not much reading, it is mostly pictures. A great coffee table book. Keeps you dreaming/ remembering until the next trip.

1. In a sea of dismal travel books, the Eyewitness Travel Guides published by Dorling Kindersley stand out like a lighthouse. Last year we traveled to Florida and relied heavily on this guidebook. Not only were the maps, directions, and recommendations absolutely perfect, but the high quality of this book and its absolute comprehensiveness (especially in light of its price) make it a must-buy. The best are its beautiful images in this guide easily recall some of our best moments, making it a keepsake even after the trip. The flexible, plasticized cover also means it stays looking nice, even after spending all day in a crowded backpack. All told, the perfect travel guide and another in a long line of excellent Dorling Kindersley books.Since then, I have bought this guide wherever I travel ( New York, Paris), and I am now buying it to give as present to my family and friends



2. This guide is excellent in getting you to the most interesting places in Florida. It has many great photos and descriptions that help you decide where you want to go, especially when you don't have as much time as you would like. I really like the overall format.



3. I bought this book for relatives that are "snowbirds" spending the winter in Florida for the first time. Have used the Insight Guides series but this book is just as good or better. Excellent information, great maps and illustrations and very up to date. Having travelled in Florida, I found its information to be highly accurate. I also received a couple of "thank you" cd roms from the publisher. Highly recommend the book



4. Having never been to Florida, I needed help. This book is fabulous, not only does it give you maps from one end to Florida to the other, the pictures are beautiful. It even has pictures of the food served at various restaurants.
   I spent hours looking through all the travel guides at my local book store and this is the one I decided on.
   Let me say that it difinitely made our stay in Florida a much more enjoyable experience. With the help from this wonderful book, we knew where to go, what to expect, with maps galore, suggestions on museums, national parks, wildlife,hotels, the whole shooting match............this book is unbelievable!

1. This book gives detailed and specific information useful to someone who wants to thoroughly explore these areas. Subjects such as the best places and times to view different types of wildlife in the Everglades, and where you can feed huge tarpon off of a dock are covered in useful detail. If you're looking for the best beach resort, or best nightclub, you will probably be disappointed, but those more interested in nature, history, and the people of the area will be satisfied.

1. This book seemed more like a Floridian native's memoirs and interests more so than a off the beaten path travel guide as I was expecting.
   It was interesting. However may not be the type of book you are anticipating.
