- I picked up a free copy of this book from the local Chinese Consulate office. They have hundreds available for free. This is not a typical travel book ... chapters are divided based on thematic topics rather than regional. Quite useless as a travel guide. Focus is really on making political points to show that Tibet was always part of China.
Save yourself the money. If you really want a copy, drop by your local Chinese Consulate to get a free copy of it rather than wasting your money.

- This is one of those books that if you find it at a garage sale or used book store in passing for five bucks and you're in this industry, you buy it because you were lucky to find it but wouldn't otherwise need it. It basically contains mostly the key players in the textile industry, names of companies and contact information that appear to be translated into English via some sort of free-translation, for continually the English is poor. The sections of the history of agriculture, the economy, and everything else I thankfully checked the book out of the library for were short, poorly written, and appeared to be essays they simply compiled from the internet or other sources. This book is not a definitive source nor a substantial one and should not be bought by novice or persons working in the industry. Its badly put together and seems to have been done in less than a month, and for the price they are charging for it...it's a joke and one of those things clearly published with one aim: they want your mooooonies. Watch out.
